Dorothy Hood Pride Flag
Art Museum of South Texas
In the summer of 2022, I undertook an internship at the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi, Texas. Throughout my time there, I engaged in various projects and designs, one of which stands out prominently: the creation of the Dorothy Hood Pride flag under the guidance of Alexis Deleon. This flag, crafted exclusively from Dorothy Hood’s artwork, holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite artistic endeavors. Working on this project was an unforgettable experience, allowing me to design something both meaningful and unique.
Here are some additional graphics I created for Pride Month 2022 during my internship, drawing inspiration with the work of Frank Stella’s “Double Scramble.”
